Tourism has improved by 300% percent in the past 2 years according to a research done in 2020. The government of Pakistan has announced to offer online visa services for 175 countries, and 50 countries were offered visa on arrival which made it easier for tourists to visit Pakistan. In 2018, British Backpacker society, named Pakistan as "one of the friendliest countries on earth, with mountain scenery that is beyond anyone’s wildest imagination", ranking it world's top adventure travel destination.
