They Have Human Rights too. Or do they?
Have you ever wondered what you would feel like if someone just dragged you out of your home, set your house on fire , slaughters your children and rape your women. Of course you haven't. We all live in a peaceful country where we are free to do or practice whatever our heart desires. Well now it has come to your knowledge that some of your fellow humans are not so lucky as you are.20 - 25 minutes ago, one brutal group of Myanmar's army came and started burning down our houses by shooting fire gunsA man stated that while watching his village burn from far away. We can only imagine what that person felt watching everything he owned and known burn to the ground. To this point, its quiet obvious that these attacks are actually government aided. As little as the Non Muslim international community cares, they did actually bother to ask for the official statement of the state of Myanmar and their reply was somewhat humorous
The Rohingya are burning their own villages and killing Buddhists and Hindus, the Myanmar military has said the majority of those killed in the violence were “terrorists”

How severe is the situation?
Looking down at the facts laid by the international community, the picture looks quiet ugly. . The UN says 123,000 people have fled to Bangladesh. An estimated 400,000 of the Muslim ethnic minority estimated to be trapped in conflict zones in western Myanmar. Around 15,000 people are entering Bangladesh each day. Already the relief camps in Bangladesh are around 30,000 in capacity and all are full. And then there are people who are in " no man's land". Some 20,000 in number, they are denied access to Bangladesh by border guards. Stuck between brutal killing and a cold neighbor, one can only imagine the suffering of these Muslims. What can you do from your office desk?
While most of us can not go there and help the people in trouble in person, we can make an impact and show the world that something needs to be done. Now some of you might know that Aung San Suu Kyi, the de facto leader of Myanmar also holds the Nobel "Peace" prize, awarded to her in 1991. You don't have to be a philosopher to understand why a Nobel peace prize is given to anyone but since the recent events in Myanmar, I was quiet confused on the criteria a Nobel peace prize is given. Being a lay man that I am, i googled the Nobel "Peace" prize and it quiet clearly stated that this is a prize awarded to people on "Outstanding contributions in peace". The recent peace in Myanmar has certainly raised some questions and there is an ongoing petition on change.org to bring Aung San Suu Kyi to International Criminal Court (ICC) for her crimes against humanity in Rohingya. You can click here and sign the petition to do your part in saving the ones who need saving. Spread love not hate. Share this article and make the world aware of what's happening.
